MRJP1 Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you participate in the MRJP1 Labs Sample Program (“Program”), including when you communicate with us via SMS/MMS text messaging.

By opting in to the Program and providing your personal information, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you participate in the Program, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Name — to identify you as a participant.
  • Phone number — to communicate with you via SMS/MMS text messaging about the Program.
  • Mailing address — to ship product samples to you.
  • Photographs — images you submit to us (via MMS reply or upload link) showing your skin’s progress during the Program.

We do not collect financial information, government-issued identification numbers, or any information beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

  • Sending you product samples via mail.
  • Communicating with you via SMS/MMS text messages, including reminders to submit progress photographs.
  • Receiving and storing the photographs you submit.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of our product based on participant-submitted photographs.
  • Contacting you with Program-related updates.

We do not use your information for any purpose unrelated to the Program without your additional consent.

4. SMS/MMS Messaging Terms

By opting in to the Program, you consent to receive SMS and MMS text messages from MRJP1 Labs related to the Program. This may include reminders, instructions, and follow-up messages.

  • Message frequency: Varies. You may receive up to 8 messages per month during the Program period.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
  • Opt-out: You may opt out of text messaging at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.
  • Help: Reply HELP to any message for support information.

5. No Sharing of Mobile Information with Third Parties

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your mobile phone number, SMS/MMS opt-in data, or SMS/MMS consent information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

All categories of information described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates, both internal and external.

Your phone number is used exclusively to communicate with you about the Program as described in this Privacy Policy. No third party will contact you via SMS/MMS as a result of your participation.

6. Photographs You Submit

Photographs you submit as part of the Program may be used by MRJP1 Labs to evaluate product performance. We will not publicly publish, distribute, or use your photographs in marketing materials without obtaining your separate, written consent.

Photographs are stored securely and access is limited to authorized MRJP1 Labs personnel.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We may use third-party service providers (such as a shipping carrier to deliver samples, or an SMS platform to send text messages) who need access to your information solely to perform services on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may not use it for any other purpose.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process (such as a court order or subpoena).

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for the duration of the Program and for up to 12 months after the Program concludes, unless a longer retention period is required by law. After this period, your information will be securely deleted.

You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us (see Section 11).

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
